It Was Mucus Like Stuff In My Period Blood

much is that book?! Is this a joke? hehe ... or not? * O *

Hi Everyone
as
Yesterday I was in a bookstore buying books draw. Here are in my room very quiet, guarded by Santa Claus, which sees a role as gift is believed to Christmas. The poor, unemployed recently. Well, I guess that the books will travel next week to house Shayra .

The point is that while in the library I could not help being astonished by the price books, especially those that are for young people who were in which concentrated my attention. And I felt angry. Mucha. Grrrr.
First things first. There is a phrase I hear all the time and it seems to have put a seal. Young Dominicans do not read. To them we are interested in reading a book or play no joke. Well, I wonder how they will read if at any library book costs 1000 pesos. I refer to books with striking covers, with stories featuring teenagers who enjoy and suffer the same problems and with whom they can feel identified. I mean brand-new books, still smelling of ink. Literature Youth good. From that grabs you and you can not put the book down until 4 am.
The minimum wage is 5 000 pesos. And a book costs 1000. What a Dominican can buy that book? None. Well yes, the upper class, the wealthy. The others are still being put in a sealed envelope, not interested in reading. How nice, right?
the other hand there are booksellers. But there (I visited several), never, ever find a used book The Hunger Games, or Hush Hush, or whatever, there just are books of history, political and social sciences, and perhaps , the classics. This is understandable. To reach the old bookseller, the book must have completed a circle, and how that circle was not opened at any time, not closed.
Ah, the classics. As I said yesterday my friend MA so fond of reading as I have to read classic. Yes, who can doubt that the classics should be read, but a young man who does not have a good reading habit may come easier for the literary world of the hand of a story like Twilight for example, and then once spark that has ignited will continue to read, wanting to know more, have discovered the wonderful world that was lost. Continue to increase their level and intellectual culture. And you end up reading Joyce's Ulysses. But to get there training is needed, a process.
Another addition would be talking about the public library service. We must start by saying that the catalog of these libraries in a matter of young adult literature .... draw a veil over this aspect pious ... Hence
only save a few like the library where I work, and where a couple can find a book by Laura Gallego, or a copy of the child Gadmen Neil cemetery, or many of Sierra i Fabra Jordi Ghostgirl Tonya Hurley. I
faith, because I have lived in the flesh, for these two years I've had the privilege of working with children who are between 13 and 18, as young men they are interested in reading. And being a reader is easier than it seems if you have resources, if you have the urge to do it enough, if you have a passion for books and communicates with the information, that passion.
